Triosynthesis | Senior Work in Dance, Bennington College, 2024
This work was developed over the course of several weeks, through experimental rehearsals and collaborative practice with the three performers. Created specifically for performance in the Martha Hill Theater, the dancers explore and arrange themselves within the nearly 1000 sqft space in diagonals and arcs. The three dancers interact with one another like cells in a larger body - starting first on the floor, then rising together to explore the space. By the end, they travel off the stage diagonally as they began, progressing toward a light that takes them somewhere the audience cannot follow.
